The Damas Damascus are made of strong > high carbon steel (HRC60 at 61). The seemingly simple blade feels the excellent know-how of the smiths, thanks to the fine grinding and hand polishing of the blade. The role of the honeycomb blade is to prevent food from sticking to the surface.
