Description of the Nakiri Knife
The main task associated with
nakiris is to cut vegetables (nakiri means "green plants" in Japanese). However, they are also a good choice for many other cutting tasks in the kitchen. It consists of a steel core and an outer coating in Damascus stainless steel with 67 layers. The bi-materials handle is made of rosewood and transparent resin for a fresh and beautiful look. measures 305mm of the heel blade but is very effective in the kitchen. As with all Nakiri, the edge profile is very flat. The edge is excellent, but regular sharpening brings tremendous benefits.
